JNU Recruitment 2013 for Project Assistant,Junior Research Fellow - jnu.ac.in
Applications are invited for the following posts in a DBT funded project entitled "Effects of perturbation of pRb-Fzr1-Skp2 axis on mammalian cell cycle regulation" in the laboratory of the undersigned. The project work will involve gene silencing, proteomics and mass-spectroscopy techniques.
1. Junior Research Fellow (@ Rs. 12,000 + 30%HRA per month):
Essential qualification: Masters degree or equivalent in Life-Sciences/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry or any other related area with strong academic record.
Desirable: Experience in animal cell-culture, biochemical/biophysical and basic molecular and cell biology techniques is desirable.
2. Project Assistant (@ Rs. 8000/- consolidated, per month):
Essential qualification: 10+2 pass
Desirable: Experience of working in a scientific laboratory and basic knowledge of computers (MSWord and Excel) is desirable.
The project duration is for three years and the selected candidates would be appointed after an interview. Appointment will be purely on temporary basis as stipulated by the existing rules of the University.
