ITBPF was established  on 24 Oct,1962.ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.

Educational Qaulification : 12th Pass.

Age Limit :
Candidates age should not be exceed  52 years .

Pay Scale : 
Rs. 9300 -34,800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/-.
